![]() Cool evenings were awesome and allowed me to keep sliding door open overnight. Nice touch with the Aperture wine in room and incredibly enjoyable to drink it out on the generous size balcony with the fire pit going. The window above shower was very high so would be difficult for anyone who is under a certain height to close. It would have been nice to have motorized shades that could be closed at the push of a button versus with chain. I understand the desire to make the rooms as bright as possible but it was a little strange to have a full length window in the water closet which had to be closed for privacy anytime it was used. First time I’ve seen this and always one of my pet peeves. The cutout in the shower glass was brilliant and allowed you to turn on the shower without getting wet trying to do so. All single level “bungalow” style rooms so no noise from above or below. ![]() It truly felt as though you were staying in a luxurious tree house. The resort did a fantastic job of preserving many of the trees in and around the first rooms. Because the resort is new, the landscaping isn’t fully developed but will be spectacular once more mature. Room 312 was beautifully appointed and overlooked the vineyard and Grand Lawn below. The desk agent was very pleasant and have a general overview of the resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very pleasant and attentive bellman and directed into the warm and inviting lobby to check in. The resort has been open only a few months now and did not disappoint. Having stayed several times at Palmetto Bluff, Deer Valley and Laguna, I was excited to be able to experience this mew Healdsburg resort. Montage has become my favorite hotel brand.
